I like the colour scheme, but those are atrocious. Something about the chevron pattern makes me want to vomit.

Those white ones are sharp, really like the shoulder/collar area.

I love this thread.
Everything in here is better than what the Flames currently wear.

'04 Jersey modification
Hey can some artistic soul modify the '04 cup run jersey (which I think is pretty universally well-liked) - just remove the flaming horse snot crest on the shoulders and replace with the new round CF found on the current 3rd jersey? I think that would look quite nice...

I cant see teams like Montreal or Chicago ever defiling their jerseys with ads, but some of the hurt southern teams I bet will eventually, especially if the NBA gets the ball rolling.
It'd be neat if the teams rebranded with the name of the sponsor like the Whitby Dunlops or Oshawa Generals.

Would actually love to see that, especially because I've always thought the '04 jerseys would look pretty sweet as new Reebok material rather than the old CCM.

Yeah I know right? C'mon artists - give the fans what we want - do a mockup for us!

Can someone just do a mock up of our 85-92 jerseys an add the nice new NHL logo and v-neck design to it and call it a day and stop messing with perfection?

Leave the past in the past I say. They already had their second shot as our 3rd jerseys. Making the flaming "C" black adds much needed contrast to the red and gold.

I'd love to see this as well.

Yeah, they had their second shot and looked 20x better than our current jerseys.

I am thinking..
Home: A better version of our current home jersey. No flags, and new striping. Same Black C
Away: 80's White. Exactly as they were
Third: 80's Red. Exactly as they were

I disagree. The black gives off the illusion of the red being much darker than it is, and from further away it makes the red and black kinda mush together. If anything I think those colours actually eliminate any contrast. Just no pop to the jersey colour scheme at all, it's so boring.
The red, yellow, and white has so much more flash & sizzle to it, and IMO suits the young, fast team we currently have. The "tougher", predominantly red/black scheme more suited the previous era; big, hard hitting, low scoring, slow, grind you into the ground. Leave the past in the past is right.
We've had the black C for over a decade now, time for that experiment to end and get back to true Flames colourss...though I'm fine keeping the black C around as a 3rd, given it has it's own nostalgia tied to it now, from the '04 run.

Since nobody else did it:
Not sure how I feel about that.

Whatever they do I hope they go back to red helmets, pants, and gloves.

There's got to be dozens of solutions better than the current jerseys. Every time we play a team with a clean look like Detroit or Winnipeg I find myself noticing how ugly the Flames' threads are in comparison.

I think if you made the logo's smaller on the shoulders it would look a littler cleaner.
