There are ways of watching it early but I don't think we're allowed to say here.

Dexter dancing was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long while.

Good premiere.
Didn't like how they never explained how the wife killer's blood was under her fingernails but somehow he gets away without any suspicion, only to run into Dexter a couple years later. I mean for Christ's sakes, his blood was under her fingernails and they call it suicide?
That Trisha chick was hot and had nice guns.
Good to have Dexter back, but slowly coming around to wanting to see this show end.

I'll take Breakind Bad and Mad Men over Dexter any day of the week. I'll give Dexter 3rd best show on TV, fair?

Dexter gets better every year. James St Almos is going to be super creepy with his understudy. Pretty cool way they opened the show. Double kill. The baby snakes in the beach scene.
Dexter - "High School i'm suprised I didn't kill anyone" lol

You don't need to be a serial killer to relate to that.

awesome opener, love where this season is heading already. no more Rita's kids being annoying, no more stupid Bautista/Laguerta romance, and Admiral Adama as a psycho mentoring Colin Hanks? hell yes

Right! I get that "I'm a blood splatter guy and I catch things others miss" but how did Dex know who's blood was underneath her nails?
Overall wicked start, love the snakes sewn in the body, killer storyline. Can't wait to see Dex meet his new season long nemesis on the screen.

My opinion the best seasons are always the ones where Dexter has to battle serial killers. First season with the ice truck killer, and Forth season with the Trinity killer. This one is shaping up to be a good one.

This is nothing new. There have been leaps in reason nearly every season. I like the show just the same. To me, it doesn't take away the enjoyment. My favourite leap is how Rita thought Dexter was a heroin addict, but then forgot about it when it no longer was necessary for the plot.
I think it was a great start to the season. Edward James Olmos & Colin Hanks appear to be solid guest stars for the year.

I hated the opening scene. That is totally against what Dexter is - at least the Dexter of season 1 and 2.
That was not carefully planned. In other words, badly written scene.

Gotta agree, there is no way Dexter would call 911 when he could easily trap them other ways. And he certainly wouldn't act like he was stabbed before he even made the emergency call.
I just ignore the plot holes and enjoy a show where the hero is a serial killer.

This was one of the funniest line I've heard the entire series.
Last nights episode was good, not great, and I liked the main plot more then the High School reunion plot... but man it had some seriously funny moments.
