Feel like that draw will make Man City up their bids for either Kane or Ronaldo.

If you're buying for CL that's a pretty ease choice in my books. One is a CL murder machine and one is Harry Kane.

Yup. Have to agree.

Looks like Madrid will up their Mbappe offer to €170m. Seems like really questionable financial management to spend that much on a guy who will cost €0 in 10 months.

It would be better to get him for free, but there are no guarantees that everything plays out the way it looks like it might. Perez isn't taking chances.
It's also PSG. They ####ed up Barcelona for fun for even flirting with Veratti. You should probably tip toe around business with them.

wasn't Perez all like "our clubs are going to die without the ESL!!!" just a minute ago? Pretty funny he's now offering €170m for a player whose contract is running out in 22. Not that the hypocrisy is surprising or anything, but still, pretty funny.

Not that I agree with ESL, but it was a long term play, not for this summer. Madrid is one of the best run clubs in the world and that's why they have this money now, that doesn't mean they'll be able to compete financially forever.

couple of strong contenders for this year's "I'm sooo excited to sign for this club" award. Aaron Lennon would be proud.
First off, we have former Bayern superstar Franck Ribery, who has decided to postpone retirement and sign for US Salernitana, who have just been promoted to Serie A. As you can see, he's overflowing with joy.
but my personal favourite this year is Burnley's new left back Maxwel Cornet, who was so excited that he pointed to the Umbro logo instead of the club's badge.

Umbro....represent!
I wonder why Ribery would come back. As I understood his biggest issue was that he was suffering from muscle injuries constantly.

If I had a grill like Franck Ribery I wouldn't smile either.

Decent game. Epic pass from Bruno for CR7 tap-in… but man does Donny look lost.

Yep, that’s a red.
Get Telles in for some games.
Edit: sancho for Dalot

Salzburg won 3 penalties against Sevilla in the first half, but only converted one. They'll regret that ...

So did Sancho when he was on.
Can't argue with the red. Self inflicted with a terrible first touch then a moment of dumbness. But Jebus, did the Young Boy ever sell it or what with the pitch thumping then up and running around.
AWB annoys the hell out of me with throw ins. The number of times he has a man on with a quickish throw but decides to wait until the other team gets set then proceeds to throw away possession needs to be addressed. It's an ongoing issue. The United goal came from him throwing away possession and Fred winning it back.
Ole needs to be ruthless here and get Varane on for Lindelof. This is exactly why you signed him.

Great defensively but offers little beyond that.

exactly. He's just not a modern full-back, given he's pretty much a non-factor offensively. Red card was a result of his poor touch, too. It's a bit of shame that he's a lock in Ole's first XI, I think Dalot would offer more if given a proper run. At least he can pull off a cross here or there.

Watched that tackle on Ronaldo again, could've easily been a penalty. Split decision imo.
