What a pleasant surprise this movie was. Didn’t have any expectations and came away feeling a little in awe of how beautiful it was.

I'm going to try this, but after reading the synopsis I take issue with the 'Old' being set at 39. Thats sum bull####!

There could be a whole other movie where Bob has a motorcycle accident, and makes music with The Band in Big Pink. Marriage to Sara and four children.
“Sylvie” is not the real name of woman in Bob’s life at the time in the movie. That was Suze.

You've been 'Old' for at least 10 years, so I can see why by your standards that's way too big a number.

Kraven is as bad as Madame Web but a little better in a sort of a fun way. If it's 2+ hour runtime (for why?) was cut down to about 90 it could maybe eventually be a cult classic but it's too tedious to sit through. There are a couple lol moments at the ridiculous plot or action. The ADR is so bad half the movie feels like you’re watching a dubbed foreign film. The CGI couldn't have cost more than five or ten bucks total, the animals are on par with the Gladiator 2 monkeys. Would not recommend, do not pass go, do not collect $200
Watch Cecil B Demented or something instead. At least that's interesting

She’s on the cover of The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan.
I’d like to see a movie where Dylan is in a parking lot asking kids if they like Ratt.

BTW, the model on the cover for Bringing It All Back Home was his manager’s wife Sally Grossman.

Alright.
So I watched the Minecraft movie. Now, I dont know anything about Minecraft so I watched it with my youngest daughter who loves Minecraft. But I know a lot about Jack Black....he is my spirit animal.
That was probably the dumbest, stupidest film I've seen in a long time and I loved every second of it.
It was exactly what it said it was going to be, you could feel the influence of the actors (looking at you Jack) and it was just stupid fun. Nobody took it too seriously, it was just fun.
I cant even give it a rating. It wasn't great but it was stupid fun. If thats your mind-set going into it then you'll love it, even if you dont know jack about Minecraft, which I do not.
So...I'd recommend, its far from 'haute-cinema' but its still a good flick.
This one is just a...turn ye ol' brain off and have some fun. Even if you know nothing about Minecraft.
Oh! and watch the post-credits.

Black Bag is a great spy thriller. I’m certain that Fassbender’s George is somehow a reference to le Carré’s Smiley but does he share any of his attributes? You’ll see.
It takes time to build but the third act is so satisfying. 4.5 sphincter clenches

I stumbled across a clip last night as I was channel surfing. Looks really interesting.

When I'm working late I just throw on an old movie for background, but I'm re-watching "Brawl in Cell Block 99."
Such a good movie.

Do yourself a favor and spend 3 hours to go back to watch Heat.
It's Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro in their primes. Val Kilmer.
G-damn what a movie.

I thought this would be a comedy of some sort with plaza and ass in the title. It’s not funny at all. Really good.
