The Cowboys haven't had a good secondary in a long time.
You must recall McNabb torching that secondary many times over the years.

Over the years yes, but not recently. Newman is good when he's healthy and Jenkins was solid as a rookie last year. Jenkins makes his money by jamming guys at the line and thus tends to get burned if the pass rush doesn't get to the quarterback on time.

yeah it was weird during the broadcast that they never even mentioned it, but when they showed the replay you could tell he got his melon rung pretty good. I never gave it another thought since Aikman usually is all over that stuff, but reading the injury report I am not surprised.

If i am counting correctly, with todays add-ons, it will be 15 guys on IR since TC broke, with 12 of them being guys that started a game thus far. Thats not to say a couple wont be cleared later this week to play, but this kind of hit to starting personel is almost impossible to overcome in the NFL these days.

They have a brutal stretch coming up on top of that with Miami, Dallas and Minnesota in Lambeau, and playing the Jets in NY before the bye week arrives.

They could conceivabley be 3-6 at that point and all but out of the division and wildcard races. Should they win one of those they have a chance and if they win 2 they will be fine. Difficult chore though with the depleted lineup.

Hard times for Packers fans.

That's one of the best INTs I've ever seen.

Cards just iced the game with another Brees INT for a TD. Cards win 30-20.

Interesting that the Cardinals punt from the opponents THIRTY! up by 3 with 30 seconds to go.

Then Brees throws a pick-6!

Yeah, hard to say how they'll do after the last two weeks. They should be able to win at least two of those games, but who knows.

It would have been a 47 yard FG. If they missed then they would have been in huge trouble. They forced NO to start at their own 9 and have 24 seconds and no timeouts to go over 60 yards to try a long FG.

I think it's officially time to start asking "what's wrong with the Saints?" NFC is wide open. Atlanta looks like the best team right now.

I liked it! I'm conservative

Just don't see a punt from the 30 very often!

Raiders with a TD to take the lead with 3:30 left in the 4th. 28-27 Raiders lead the Chargers. So many close games this week.

The NFL is insane this year. INSANE.

My team is 2-3, have zero running game, and I'm starting to feel pretty good about them having an opportunity to compete for a playoff spot.

Mariani with another huge return! Kroy Biermann with a great individual effort on a pick six to seal the victory for Atlanta....good weekend for Montana boys in the NFL!

I don't really understand how to describe Tony Romo. If you looked at his stat line today, you'd think he had a great game, but he's been terrible.

Holy crap.........Raiders recovered a fumble and ran it all the way back for a TD after SD was in FG range for the win.......it's going to review.

WOW. TD RAIDERS!

35-27 Raiders. Ha ha stupid Chargers!
