I'd much rather face the Riders than the Lions next week.
The best thing about this game was Lulay..... pumping on the imaginary gas pedal and nothing happening. hilarious! i don't think i have seen that before let alone 2-3 times in the same game. haha

Don't kid yourself. The Stamps are going to get their share of PI calls as Browner and Anderson have that reputation and the Riders always get the bounces from the officials plus the league would prefer to have the Riders in the Grey Cup for the ratings. Riders will be given every opportunity to win next week and it will be up to the Stampeders to ensure that it doesn't come down to penalty calls deciding the game.

Oh I know, it will be ridiculous I'm sure but the Stamps are the better team on paper and on the field and as long as Burris doesn't go Hank on everyone it should be a Grey Cup ticket for the red and white

It is guaranteed that Browner and Anderson will get at least 2 PI calls each.

The Riders have been pretty awful away from Taylor Field this season, so hopefully that continues next week.

Yep that's been the trend late in the season and you know that Durant will go deep as much as possible in hopes of PI calls.

That's true, but Mcmahon Stadium is as close it Taylor Field as you can get without actually being in Regina. The crowd will be great. It will be hard to communicate on the field for both offences.
Should be a good game as long as DD decides to actually play the whole game and not just the last half. If he plays the first half next week like he did this week, we may not be able to pull out a win like this week. Hopefully our injuries on D-fence won't be to bad and they can all play next week.
Looking forward to a great game next week.

in all professional sports i dont think i hate any other team as much as the riders, not even the canucks. the whole rider nation thing is so artificial and fake like a boy band. a team with a history of losing and mediocrity. fans who think they're on the level of green bay. it smacks of pre packaged phony bologna hype, served by TSN to kiss up and get ratings.

Wow is the reffing really that bad that the stamps are persecuted by them?hopefully the players don't use it as an excuse like the fans.
Personally as a riders fan i hope it's a good game..but i do realize there will be bad calls going both ways..if you don't want a bad penalty called don't put yourself in the position for the ref to make it.

A few thoughts.
-Fantastic game to watch. CFL is so exciting to watch.
-B.C. just wouldn't go away, some horrible play calling by the Rider D allowing B.C. to tie on the last play of regulation. Why would you blitz in that situation?
-Why did B.C.'s defense just collapse? They had Durant contained all game long. The Riders O is incredibly one-dimensional to the pass, with them losing in the game the Lions should have contained them easy.
-Riders receivers go offside on almost every play. Why isn't that called?
I still like Calgary's chances next week. Burris is a better QB than Durant all things being equal, so as long as Frank doesn't show up the Stamps O will take care of things. Defensively speaking the Stamps are the far superior bunch as long as they don't get nailed with the long ball to often. As for special teams neither team's is very special.

The Mosiac West BS is the biggest piece of garbage out there. It is at the best of times 30% Rider Trolls and more like 20%.
If Durant decides to show up? It has nothing to do with him deciding to show up and everything to do with him being a mediocre QB that is easy to defend if the refs aren't giving him the calls.
Stamps play at 50% of their ability and they win easily, they show up to play and it is not a game at all.

Even if it is only 30% Rider fans as you say, they make a s*** load of noise. There is a reason you never hear of any other stadium in the league have that amount of Rider fans in one staduim (other than Taylor Field obviously).
Mediocre QB? Yeah that's how he had over 5500 passing yards and over 600 yards rushing. Leading the league in both catigories (for a QB). What gets him into trouble is when he stays in the pocket and doesn't move around like what happend in the first half.
As for your last point, well, you keep thinking that. Although there is a reason that the Stamps finished first in the west, I doubt they can play at 50% and still win easily. I'm looking forward to a close game.

Having been there many times they don't make nearly as much noise as Suitor tries to make it seem. And the reason you hear that is because TSn loves to pimp the fact that the Riders are "Canada's" team despite the fact they are the worst fans in pro sports and detested by most people in Canada.

And also why he had a god awful td to int ratio and a mediocre record. also didn't hurt that Burris and AC were good enough to lead their teams to easy victories and take a lot of games off while Durant was chucking the ball up in the air to make up for his numerous mistakes.

They played at 50% and lost in OT in Regina to the Riders playing their best because our receiver got hurt. The Riders have only got worse since then and will likely not get the same reffing advantage in this game (although we all know the CFl loves to give the Riders tons of advantages).
50% should be more than enough for the Stamps to win the game.

What a load of crap. Are you guys all serious or are you just making excuses ahead of time.
Reffing in this league is not that hot to begin with, but to say it's loaded in the Riders favor is complete crap. You don't have to like the Riders but the outcome of that game had nothing to do with the reffing.

I don't think it's loaded in the riders favour, but I do think playing in SK has an advantage. Close calls are going to go the home team's way, it's human nature. Nothing wrong with it, that's why you play the whole season to get that home field advantage.

Not making excuses as even with the refs trying to give the game to the Riders the Stamps should easily beat them, but there is no doubt that the refs and league hae a huge bias to the Riders.
Whether at Taylor Field or on the road the Riders consistently get calls going their way and the refs consistently ignore Rider penalties.

Saskatchewan has nothing to lose now, they are expected to lose big. The pressure is clearly on Burris to deliver at home. Should be a fun game, I hope it's close right to the end.

Then they should have just overlooked that extra guy last year.
Seriously, you guys sound like a bunch of whiners. The Riders don't get any special treatment.

I am sure they wished they could have but since it was the most watched game of the year and the last play pretty tough to ignore the fact that the idiots put out 13 men.
