So need some advice from you guys much further ahead of me
Im currently mid way through inferno act 2, on the 2nd blood in the cave where I keep getting near impossible combinations, logged out and restarted about 8 times now.
Anyhow the question I have is should I farm act 1, the 5 neph butcher&jailer farm route until i get up to like 1 million and upgrade an item, rinse repeat?
My current stats are 31k dps, 34k health, about 380 to all resists.
I can farm about 100k or more a 30-60 min run, but is that the best way for me to use my time. Seems all the real upgrades are well over 1-2 million for me.
Since there are soooo many people farming act 1 inferno, nothing that drops is really worth anything other than vendor fodder.

Well, actually managed to sell some gold. It was a little nerve wracking, as it seems so easy to scam people on Paypal with charge-backs and the like, but it went ok. Seems like every other person out their is just looking to screw you over.
A fair degree of trust required on both sides, which is sometimes easier said than done. I imagine it will be more clamped down on when Blizzard actually enables the RMAH, as they in that case will be losing out on that 15% cut. But in the mean time, for a bored College student sitting around in his boxers playing D3 all day, selling gold to those with more money and less free time seems like a decent deal so far.

Probably just as long as everyone else. Well, thats not true, I know some guys who seem to make milions per hour, but that seems to be playing the AH and stuff, which I dont really have the know how for.
I would guess maybe 2 hours or so? But it fluctuates incredibly, sometimes I get really nice items that I sell for more than a mill, and find multiple ones on my inferno whimyshire farming. Some days I get absolute ####. Only crappy thing is that every day the market gets flooded with more and more items, so those 900 dps 1handers that were auto money for me before now and pretty low.
The golden period to sell gold was probably like a week ago, where it was around $25/mill. At the beginning, it was going for about $40/mill, but not many had much gold. Like a week ago, gold was pretty much in the same demand, yet the premium for it was alot higher.

please tell me if I am obsessed ... Situation.. I work in Oil and gas here in the states. My broker told me it was gonna be slow for the next 4 weeks or so because of a client budgeting issue( meaning I might be sitting at home a couple days a week) . The first thing that went through my head was ... "Hell yeah , more time for Diablo!" When I told my wife, that was obviously not the first thing that she thought of.... meh.. DO I have a prob?

My level 36 Hardcore Barbarian just died because the game randomly minimized or something while I was approaching a pack of elite Imps in the Crypts in Act I Nightmare. Never had anything like it happen before. Great timing for some crap like that. He was fun for the 22 hours and 18 minutes he lived for.
Guess I'll try a Monk this time. Haven't made one of them yet.

Why cant tonight be the good patch dammit.
So I finally was about to reach the end of the cave with the 2nd blood in act 2, I had basically found a nice little area to kite the impossible blue packs into so I could die there and then skip them and clear to the end.
Right at the end I get one more rare pack, easy, start kiting them back to my nook with 2 blue elite packs who were looking for 1 more friend to hang with, I get the new pack there, die, BAM disconnected, back to the start of the cave, all new mobs, level 1.
I literally spent 2 hrs dying, dying and dying some more, resetting the cave over and over . Then to have finally a perfect cave run, well if you call perfect hiding elite packs in a corner so you could continue and BAM F'ing disconnect from the server.

This game is so random at times, play for a whole day, get absolute ####. Then today, play for like 2.5 hrs, and find these 2 beauties.
And then one the next run, this bad boy.
And then in the same run, find hilarious stuff like this.
The level requirement is so nice, I would love to be owning hell with that haha.
Sometimes the random luck gods are smiling on you.

I can't understand how people can get 'addicted' to this... Playing 4 Acts x 4 doesn't get old? Plus the fact that you gotta farm a lot to advance further in Inferno... I'm stuck at Act 4 Inferno... and simply sick of the game for now.

Ive loved the whole game so far, even though act 2 is hilariously tough and its only gonna get worse in 3, I still enjoy it immensly.
I do take breaks from the Inferno playing another class, but I see myself having fun with this game for a long time.
