I'm in Calgary, it's a great deal though, use air miles to fly out, it's a short flight, great stadium and city.

Did you have to pay for the seat license?

I assume I will have to, I've paid for the seats themselves already but I'm being sent all the information by my rep.

49ers CB Nate Clemens is out with pneumonia. Even with the signing of Dre Bly, the Niners are thin at CB.

The Niners have only their 1st, 3rd and 5th round picks left to sign. Bear Pascoe signed last week. He has apparently been a revelation. He was drafted to be more of a blocking TE, and while it was known he had hands, he has had very good hands so far. I don't know if that is why, or if Vernon Davis has bought into Coach Singletary, but Davis has also had a good showing in the OTAs. QBs have been less than impressive. The odd good throw, but mainly they are making the secondary look good.

But these are just OTAs, mandatory minicamp for the 49ers starts Friday.

Eagles are only asking for a second or third round pick for Sheldon Brown. Brown would be an upgrade on Bly and Clements.

Rodney Harrison announced his retirement. Many people will be happy to hear that. It leaves a big spot to fill for the Pats defense. Even at his age, he was pretty effective out there.

Congrats on the tickets, Ditch! I took in my first live NFL game last year in Seattle, the crwod is fantastic!

Look for Scott Pioli to try to get Harrison to sign with the Chiefs.

Yep it is really something ain't it? Compare that with going to a game at McMahon.

You don't need to be young to hit guys late, take shots at guys heads and knees or be the 10th guy in on a pile.

$1.1 Billion will do that for you.

And I think tickets to a Stamps game are probably a bit more reasonable, too.

I'm going to try to go to a Cowboys game this year, so if I can find tickets (that's a BIG if), I'll let you know the price.

It was HGH, at least get the PED correct. At least he didn't cop out, he took his medicine.

He's no choir boy, but to call every hit cheap or late etc tells me you don't watch much football. Belichick rarely hands out complements:

"In the biggest games, in any situation and on a weekly basis, his production was phenomenal," Belichick said. "Rodney embodies all the attributes coaches seek and appreciate: toughness, competitiveness, leadership, selflessness, hard work, intensity, professionalism -- and coming from Rodney, they are contagious."

But hey, he was only a peripheral player or a cheapshot artist.

Rodney was and is one of the best FS to ever play the game. Patriots will miss his leadership but I wouldnt be surprised to see him on the famous patriot shadow roster with the likes of Seau, and Rosie in case of injury. Loved the guys hard nose style and sooo clutch remember the game ending interceptions against peyton and the colts

It will be nice to see him on NBC a guy who wont be afraid to speak his mind. Woulda been nice if he coulda played this one more season and mentor the young guys in Chung and Merriweather and get one more ring

Happy hes retiring a patriot and should garner consideration for Canton. All the best to Rodney was a pleasure watching you give it everything you had.

I don't think every hit was dirty but he certainly was at or near the top of the list of dirty players. And don't know how that got to peripheral player either.

And of course Belicheat likes him cheats sticks together!

ESPN just reported that Brian Westbrook has to go under the knife yet again. This time its for bone spurs in his ankle and the surgery could cost him quite a bit of training camp which will delay him starting the season. Dude is a stud player but he is getting so fragile. This is his second operation in 4 months for two different problems.

The Eagles are dreadfully thin at RB after him and may have to pin their hopes early on in the season on LeSean McCoy who they drafted out of Pitt this last April.

I breifly heard a conversation about this on Ferral last night. They were saying the Eagles might be looking at Edge or Deuce. The reaction from the Eagles fan on the panel was hilarious. You got to love uncensored sports talk radio.
