Tkachuk did SFA but he'll say they are the best. Canada absolutely dominated, McDavid cost them the game.

Well, on the bright side, at least we aren't Americans.

... er, I hope.

The worst part about this is that it should be all about Gaudreau, and instead some orange #### is going to make it all about himself.

Hellebuyck has to be player of the game.

Canada lost their composure in OT. Everyone trying to win it on their own. Looked like a bunch of Kadri’s.

Oh well. It was a good game.

Yeah, this had nothing to do with roster construction or coaching decisions. Canada was the best team in the tournament and absolutely dominated the gold medal game.

They lost because some of the best players in the world were clutching their sticks too tight and boggled simple plays (MacKinnon's whiff on the open net was worse than anything McDavid did). You can't manage or coach for how guys' nervous systems react under immense pressure.

Never fails to amaze me how McLotto can skate at light speed toward the opposing net but the moment the puck gets turned over he suddenly slows to a crawl and drifts back gently.

But I doubt USA fans will leave this one thinking they're suddenly the best team in the world. Gold medal winners, sure - but clearly not the better team. Canada takes that 4 games out of 5.

Well, at least it was entertaining until the end.
You must not know many Americans lol

Pick your spots maple magas, nobody likes you to begin with

Canada played great. just the way hockey is, sometimes you lose even when you are the better team.

Frustrating sequence leading to the goal but once they let it get to overtime it basically became a coin flip

I think Celebrini would have been a better choice to play with McDavid. faster than MacKinnon right now because MacKinnon is hurt, and better defensively IMO.

More angry about the US winning than Canada losing.

The NHL should demand for the 2030 Winter Oympics that NHL rules shall be enforced or no NHL players shall be permitted to play.

Funny thing is before the Olympics I was telling my neighbour that I think the US has a stronger all round team than Canada. I shouldn't get in the prophecy business.
