Cmon bats. Get your #### together. I can't handle all these tight games. And so many missed opportunities.

How many times this year have Bichette and Guerrero both got a hit in the same inning? Once? Twice?

Wow, 0 for 9 with RISP? That seems... uh... bad. Yes, that's the word I'm looking for - bad.

I assume they'll win in a blowout at SOME point...

Here’s a really fun stat:
First time in Jays history without losing back to back games in April!

By May 25th, the Yankees will have played the O's 13 times. And they will also have played KC, Det, and Tex.
So half of their games (22 out of 45) will have been against doormats

Hopefully the Jays keep pace with them, because after that it'll be the Jays with the much easier schedule.

Unless the White Sox can get their #### together in the next week or so (unlikely), the total list of teams over .500 on the Yankees' schedule in the first 45 games is: Toronto Blue Jays
That's it. That's the list

Yeah, they just have to stay close. This first part of the schedule is grueling, then it will turn around.

Oh FFS Bo crushes that liner 111mph off the bat right at the SS
Probably would have been an RBI double to the gap if it's a foot higher, instead it's an out

Gausman is nasty. Hitting 97 on his fastball with a wipe out splitter.

The Jays are living off the pitching for sure right now as the bats have been pretty lethargic coming out of the gate. But the Jays tend to be a team that doesn't really get off to great starts, and this season the schedule does look pretty tough to open up especially this current stretch since the Oakland series.
In the Gausman vs. Ray debate, I see that Robbie Ray's walk rate is back up to 0.4 per inning this year, which is 50% higher than what it was last year although still better than what it had been in his career. He's also only at 26 k's thru 30 innings in 5 starts. It will be interesting to see how he does over the term of the deal vs. Gausman. Both guys are similar in that they went to focusing on their two best pitches last year and had a lot of success doing so.
