In comparison to the Flames goals, it really seems like Eichel tries to avoid hugs after scoring. It looks like he prefers to do a skate by himself waiving to the crowd, and just go for fist bumps.
Am I the only one seeing it? just seemed to stand out a little.
My theory is that Vegas are the ones holding up the deal at this point and not the Sabres. They have teased Buffalo with the deal they want, but are shy to pull the trigger.
At some point Vegas either gives in to Buffalo, or Buffalo hangs up the phone and moves on. Treliving is sitting on his hands until one of them budges.

I don't think so. There'd be other roster players involved in the trade, wouldn't they scratch them too?
Take this for what it's worth, but because the cap situation, they can't really do that. I've also heard this is why Monahan is playing 4th line and sheltered minutes.
