This is almost certainly the tiniest tip of the iceberg when it comes to abuse in competitive sports. I doubt we will see too many more big revelations (unlikely to be very current), but even just a few more retroactive 'name & shames' should do a lot to help move the needle away from some current boorish practices.

His hiring was a joke, which was my statement. GM hires his best buddy who never would have gotten a job elsewhere. I’m glad the Flames actually experienced some success in one of his seasons, but I personally attribute little of that to Hartley.

All I know is even if Peters admits it and apologizes and he keeps his job somehow I don't see how I can support this team while he is still head coach. That is inexcusable, I believe I would have to take a long break from Flames hockey and would always be pissed off at the team.

I didn't invent anything, I speculated as did many others before we knew what happened and that was in my first post but you went out and cherry picked my early posts to try and stir the pot which you have a history of doing with my posts.
