Turns out the light at the end of the tunnel was a train. That sucks.

Speaking of doubles though, Nestor is quietly moving along well himself. Straight sets win today to move into the third round.

Vinci-Bouchard will be the last match on Armstrong tomorrow after Fognini-Lopez. I would say around 7pm ET.

As per TSN's Mark Masters on Twitter:

We're told that Bouchard's symptoms include sensitivity to loud noises, light... she has a sore neck & a really bad headache.

When Bouchard was heading to ice bath late Friday the room was dark (most had left) + floor recently cleaned; she slipped & hit elbow/head

Darn it that sucks she had a great chance to make a deep run. Bad mojo for Vasek, Milos, and Genie at this year's US Open.

Watching Serena today in that peach/orange thing brought back fond memories of Warren Sapp in Buccaneer glory days (he played before they abandoned those fantastic uniforms, right?)...

Both Canadians, Dennis Shapovalov and Felix Auger Aliassime won their opening matches in the boy's singles

Murray is out as Anderson wins a 4th round match for the 1st time in 8 tries.

Lesson learned here: dont invite Frank Lampard to your players box!

Isner is absolutely atrocious at net. But what an end to that set for Roger with two amazing up the line winners.

I was in NYC last week not specifically for the Open, but managed to catch the Thursday evening session. I don't have the best equipment to take super high quality action shots at night in the cavernous Ashe stadium, but figured I could share a bit of what I got anyway.

Spoiler!

Great photos...especially Mr. Lundqvist . Always a sight for sore eyes.

The new roof on Ashe looks dynamite.

The best part about Lundqvist is he seems like the type of guy who isn't trying too hard al a Ronaldo or other pretty boys.

Just a good looking fella with a good sense of style.

Great pics it looks like fun.
