Naw, there was absolutely no one at the bridge when I got there. I floated across on a cloud of latte and pretentiousness.

Probably comments that shouldn't have been made, but I have no real problem with the sentiment behind them.

Theresa Spence is a fraud and a con artist, she deserves a serious public shaming and Idle no More should be leading that charge.

"Idle No More" . . . no more?

http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/ca...729/story.html

The grassroots indigenous rights movement that garnered momentum across Canada this winter — grabbing the attention of government and sparking global solidarity protests — has all but fizzled out online, according to a new analysis of Idle No More’s web traffic.

Online activity related to Idle No More — on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, blogs, online forums and in the online news — has fallen 84 per cent in four weeks, which suggests “public interest and internal energy are currently shadows of their former selves,” digital public affairs strategist Mark Blevis wrote in his newest analysis on Sunday.

As good a place as any to put this; every morning on the way to work I drive by a house that has "idle no more" sign in the window for big enough letters to be seen from across the street.

Each morning, that house has a Lexus SUV idling in the driveway.

Not sure what the term is for that...being a complete hypocrite on the double meaning of a term.

Once it got hijacked by the Chiefs and the moronic Occypyer hardcore members I'm sure that most of the actual idolers threw up their hands and walked away.

Like the occupy movement the professional protesters only stick around as long as its exciting they don't have the political will to stick around.

Protests have become fashionable like a restaurant but people lose interest quickly

I think these fad protests or leaderless groups are fairly worthless and they tend to burn out very quickly. The only thing that keeps them together longer then they should be are the professional protesters.

They joined forces with the Occupy movement and are now unstoppable, creating effective and appreciable changes wherever they appear. Haven't you been watching the news?

Honestly, there will never be a protest CP agrees with. And the same stupid "what is the goal" rhetoric will continue.

You know when there won't be any "what is the goal" rhetoric? When there is an actual, tangible goal and a suggested action to achieve it.
