I didn’t start watching from the start, but this 8-2-0 formation that West Brom seems to have elected is bold. Or watching the half, maybe it’s 6-4-0. Regardless, I don’t know if they can get back into this.

Did Thiago die? Is he still alive?
This would be an ideal game for Thiago Alcantara to play in. He doesnt even have to run, he could just stand in the middle and spray passes around.

I believe in the Jays.

There goes Matip’s groin. That will be all three senior centre backs out long term.

I don’t think I’ve seen a team dive as much as West Brom today.

Well that is a frustrating way to drop points.

You just knew it was coming. Everyone seemed off today. Robertson and TAA couldnt make crosses, Salah and Mane's first touches all too heavy, and just lacking that player that could unlock 10 men behind the ball.
One unlucky play.

Almost two unlucky plays though, because they had a great chance before that. Liverpool is just reverting to the mean though. Last year they win that for sure, and that was the difference in the title race. This year things are really tight.
Looking at our lineup against Wolves and we’re not going to play well. Sanchez in at CB with Winks in midfield. Hopefully we at least get a point. I had thought we’d win this easily as Wolves haven’t been great and with Jimenez out they’re less threatening.

Weird that you don’t call out Fernandes for that kind of thing.

Lol, close. We scored the first minute and then tried to sit on that for 90 minutes. Just dreadful.

Not even close.
But then again you've always defended this... what do Spurs call it?
Trickery?

We’ve been over this. Players drop when they’re in the box because it works. It makes no difference which team they play for, or what country they’re from or whatever else. We’ve all watched games where the announcer says the player was “too honest” otherwise that might have been a penalty or whatever. That’s the way the game is, and it encourages players to drop if there’s any contact.

No. Players don't just drop when they're in the box. SOME players drop when they're in the box on contact. Some a lot more than others.
Then there are those like Kane that drop without any hint of contact or initiate contact and flop.
He's in a league of his own when it comes to this and thankfully the words out amongst the refs. So much so that his diving was one of the main talking points of BBC 5 live post game show.
But don't buy into my biased opinion. Do your own research. Like, maybe start with a search for biggest diver in the PL.

Meh, it’s just your usual bias. I’m not researching this. The reality is there’s a diver on every team these days. It works, and United is just as bad as everyone else.
