I know I asked this question last season, but is there anywhere I can get a Johnny Gaudreau throwback BC jersey that isn't from eBay though?

I'm pretty sure I've scoured the intertubes and there's nowhere.

Boston College has an online store where you can buy the jersey: http://bceagles.cbscollegestore.com/...duct_id=220369

It doesn't look like they offer customizing, but it's a pretty basic letterset, so you could likely find someone local who could do it up for you.

Like Getbak said, you can only get a blank BC jersey. The reason is NCAA isn't supposed to make money off of merchandise with any players names on it, so they can't officially customize jersey's for you.

I've got a Gaudreauby Baker shirt they were printing last season. I think it'll suffice until I can get Gaudreau jersey in Red and Black and Gold.

They also said we were lacking in goalie prospects... I would take their evaluations with a big grain of salt.

Well his throwing out nasty comments about team Canada got me riled up. Myself, I don't see any need for his type of language.

Have ordered one of these and they are really nice, especially for 80 bucks. Looking into finding the exact lettering now.. however I am in Stoon that probably doesn't help PMM. Standard jersey fit, I am 6'2 210 and I ordered a XL, fits a bit baggy but a L would definitely be too small, if that helps.

Hoping to get an autograph on it from Johnny in March then frame it.

not sure if anyone reads the "puckdaddy" blog, but this one made me giddy...

Quote:
3. Transcendence Statistically, if you're a Puck Daddy reader you're primarily, or perhaps only an NHL fan, and therefore do not pay attention to college hockey until you absolutely have to. I am telling you right now and today and this second that there's a kid playing for Boston College to whom you should be giving your very utmost attention.
Johnny Gaudreau isn't much to look at on the ice. He's listed at 5-foot-7 and 150, but the lack of size seems to have no effect. I've seen him play in each of the last two weekends and he has been uniformly magnificent. In his last four games, he has six goals and four assists. Apart from a game in which he was held off the scoresheet before this run, he started the season 3-5-8 in four games. For the math majors out there, that's 9-9-18 in nine games, and things are only likely to get worse for opposing defenses.
Frankly, the fact that he only has 18 points to start the season is a bit of a disappointment, because he had three in the first 12 minutes or so against Army on Sunday, and then didn't get used very much after that. He still tacked on a late assist.
Gaudreau is the best NCAA hockey player right now despite the fact that he is only a junior. The guy with the next-highest point total on the team is fellow Calgary prospect Billy Arnold, who has 105 points in 128 career games. That's a very good total in the ultra-conservative world of college hockey. Gaudreau is up to 113 in 88.
And it's not the production, either. It's how he does it. The most common reaction to the highlight-reel goals he both scores and sets up on the regular are disbelieving head shakes. When you watch him, you honestly can't believe what you saw. Every week, there's another quote from a teammate about how he does [insert thing all high-level hockey players do here] better than anyone these kids have ever played with. His hands are top-flight. His vision is better.
(i didn't paste the entire article, just the bullet point speaking about Gaudrea, please let me know if this is not acceptable).

Man, the better this kid gets, the more fanfare he receives and the more the rest of the league is starting to notice, the more nervous I get.

Do you think he would say screw it this is too easy half way through his 3rd year and sign?

Losing Gaudreau would be crushing..

Well, just spent about half an hour watching Gaudreau highlights on YouTube. I do this every few months or so remind myself as to just how spoiled we are Flames fans to be able to call this kid, "ours."

I'd be really hesitant to call him ours until he signs.

I'm not worried. This has been rehashed over and over again. Finally a reporter during development camp asked him straight up and he seemed to answer truthfully that he'll be faithful to the Flames.

I believe him.

Gaudreau and Arnold are playing right now vs Massachusetts. Hoping they keep their streaks going tonight!
