Exactly. Even guest appearances in other shows like House, he was spectacular in that along with shows like Hack.

I just watched the The Mist a couple of weeks ago and was surprised to see him in that movie. I watched the movie when it first came out, but before I knew who Andre Braugher was. Pretty good movie still.

I'm pretty indifferent to most celebrity deaths, but Andre Braugher hits hard. Captain Holt is a Top 10 TV show character of all-time IMO, there's not a single episode of that series that he didn't crush. I don't think I've been this bummed since Anthony Bourdain's death

The reaction on this forum is telling.
Andre Braugher was a fine actor who had a major role in making whatever he was in, great.
It also looks as if he could’ve done much more, but when questioned about it, he wanted to be there for his family.

"Velvet Thunder" is one of the best lines ever delivered on camera. I watch that 30 second scene every once in a while.
