For being known as epic killers, the waif girl sure didn't do very well.
Wonder if we get to see the Hound go after Brianne?

To be contrary, I think that Arya was Jaqen.
Different clothes, different mannerism, different attitude, almost flaunting a come get me flag. I think that was a test of the waif rather than of Arya. Would the waif show mercy. She failed.

The waif was instructed to make it quick, which she didn't.

Not really familiar with the logistics of getting stabbed 3 times in the gut but
Holding your breath underwater while your wounds leak and then pulling yourself back on land and hobbling down the street. How is she even alive? Did she keep ketchup packets underneath her clothes?

Her chances of surviving in a real life situation is probably zero. Since this is a show where people have come back from the dead I have a feeling someone will help her and bring her back to health.

Could have been fake blood from the actors that she/Jaqen borrowed.
If it was Arya she obviously isn't in any danger, they didn't build all of this up just to have her die right now. I have zero fear of that character going anywhere, which sucks because that isn't in the spirit of the show.

I could buy the theory that it's not Arya because of the way she's gallivanting around and "walking like a rich person". I could buy that it's Jaqen because he's actually testing the Waif because she obviously hasn't let go of a personal grudge against Arya, which is very un faceless men like.
But I think it's a little silly. Arya is unkillable really because investing that much time in a character who ended up having zero impact in the world as a whole would just be such a hilarious misstep that I couldn't see them doing it.
That whole scene was a little odd. I really hope it ends up just being face value. The Waif attacked Arya, now she needs to survive and probably fight the Waif. No need for all the "it wasn't really Arya" shenanigans IMO.

In that day and age how would one recover from the internal bleeding from those stabs to the abdominal area?

Stick a finger in it to plug it up?
Probably magic though.

My first thought was that Arya had some type of protective gear on because she knew an attack would come. Doesn't explain all the actual blood though.
I think there's more to it than she just got stabbed and has to recover now. She's too clever for that.

I never thought we'd seen the Hound again. Was truly shocked when he showed up.

Was it a coincidence that the Hound shows up in an episode so heavy with Arya, and one where we are led to believe she is trying to get home?

Funny you mention that, I thought this was a troll job by Martin. Sort of how we never see Stannis die, but you pretty much have to assume he's dead.
I have no idea how mortality works in this universe anymore though, which in a way is kind of unfortunate because it has removed some of the gravity of the storyline for me.
WHen's Ned going to re-appear?

I stand by my "ketchup packets carefully placed over chainmail" theory.
