Grandfather kills six grandchildren, daughter, and himself.

In 2001 he shot and killed his 8-year-old son in what was then deemed a hunting accident.

yeah I'm sure that if guns were banned that this guy wouldn't have done it because he would be breaking the law....

oh wait...

I'm just saying that this is a sad situation, no doubt, but "mass shooting"? hardly, just another anti gun rabble to get the knee jerk reactions going.

By the way, I guess guns are so bad and terrible maybe you guys should stop watching shows, movies or anything that has gun violence in them before you turn into mass murder's

It's funny you should resort to this strawman. Because we are capable of watching the same media you are, but we don't turn into "mass murder's" (sic). It really points to just how sick American society truly is.

Good lord did you even read this post before you hit submit?

Your post had nothing to do with this being a sad situation, admit it.

It wasn't until people called you out of douchyness that you tried to make it that.

Well the poor #######s might have been able to run away at least, or overpowered the git.
Explain again how guns kept this family safe?

Yep, how dare I, as an American citizen, be disturbed by the frequency with which innocent people's lives are lost due to gun violence in this country. How dare I question the fanatical support and borderline allegiance that NRA types put on the Second Amendment. God forbid we post about a shooting in which 7 innocent people, and 8 overall, lost their lives, in a "mass shooting" thread.

Exactly how many people need to be dead before it's a mass shooting? Or do the victims just have to be not related to the shooter to make it applicable?

Seven people were killed by a convicted felon who was not legally allowed to possess firearms. "Gun control" wouldn't have stopped this.

Exactly. Gun control doesn't work. It has never worked in any country that has ever tried it. No sir. Reducing the number of firearms in circulation has never, EVER been effective at preventing mass shooting incidents.
