Kareem Hunt says hello in the OROY.
Brady, Brees, even Alex Smith would be others for MVP Consideration. Rogers likely falls out due to injury otherwise he was there.

Chiefs still have two games against the Raiders starting tonight. Those two games will greatly bolster their (Hunt & Smith) candidacy for MVP as they are going to beat the Raiders down badly as they usually do. I can see Hunt having a huge game tonight.

That's my schtick!!!
I think the Raiders actually turn things around tonight. They aren't as bad as they've been of late. At some point in time the OC has to stop calling such awful games. I think the Chiefs need to survive this game and start getting some bodies healthy with a longer break.
It's still early, and the usual suspects at the QB position still have lot's of season to make their case.
Really unless it's an Adrian Peterson 2000 yard season on a team with Christian Ponder as the QB, I don't think any non-QB has a chance at MVP. Unless Alex Smith pulls off the full Rich Gannon, I see him regressing back to his career norms.

Lynch in a world of trouble...ran onto the field off the bench and accosted the official.
That has suspension written all over it.

Eric Fisher is awful. Funny how he's a #1 overall pick...and guys like Hunt and Hill were 3rd and 5th round guys. Granted Hills criminal record impacted his draft spot.

Even without his idiocy tonight, Lynch has been a massive disappointment for the Raiders. Good for him getting at least $10 million out of it though.

What a weird draft that was. Glad Johnson ended up falling to the Eagles.

Theory: Alex Smith sold his soul to have one Aaron Rodgers type season.

Well that sucked. Horrible defence by KC. Oakland back now.

yup, one thing I do like about the NFL, they call penalties right til the end if they are penalties. Unlike a sport we all know where they 'don't want to decide the game'

He's not going to make anywhere near that as it only has $2.3 million guaranteed and heavily incentive laden. Apparently it has lots of incentives for yardage milestones, awards, team success, etc and it appears he's going to hit very few if any of them. As for the player he's clearly an idiot and I've never been a fan. I kind of hope he gets at least a two week suspension so we can get a look at Elijah Hood.
Kind of a 180 since the inception of these Thursday night games in that they have been a lot better than most of the Monday night games this season.
