I've been told these misinformation factories are totally cool to have around, and in no way should we have laws to prevent them from blowing up our democracy. Freedom of the press, and all.
At this point I’m not sure that any poll taken before the debate will matter, as I’m pretty sure that Smith will find a way to seal her fate on Thursday night, one way or another. If David Parker runs up on stage to drag Smith off I think it will have been the best night haha.

Calgary is definitely going to blow it. I figured Smith would win then again I also figured Farkas would win.
We live in the dumbest province and it's not even close.
Umm the no goods have figured it out. Stupid dumb Calgarians. I mean with Daniel Smith running even the undecided are pretty much deplorables at this point.

I don't know why the NDP aren't hammering home the Alberta Pension Plan, the Alberta Police Force and all of the other crazy ideas that will happen if Smith is elected for the first time.
Just because the UCP said they didn't want to talk about doesn't mean they are not issues.

I honestly think that part of the problem is there is *SO* much crazy crap that Danielle Smith has said, that they are having a hard time focusing on just a couple of the crazy ideas. I mean everyday it feels like there is some video coming up of her saying stupid things. Almost like the Trump playbook of feed everyone so much crap they forget about the true goals. (Privatization in my opinion)
This province is a glutton for punishment. That said, there's still two weeks - more than enough time for Smith to further embarrass herself.
What would it even take for someone to switch their vote away from the UCP at this point? Who is the mythical voter who has seen all the craziness and bozo eruptions from Smith so far and thinks, "This is fine," but there's some hypothetical future line Smith has yet to cross that would be a bridge too far?

Edmonton is a far nicer, more welcoming city than Calgary. I've spent lots of time time in both and I've thought that for years.
It's embarrassing to be quite honest. The silliness surrounding the NDP is over the top and even seeing people trying to justify voting for the Alberta party or anyone else just makes me shake my head. People aren't paying attention to what's actually going on.
My wifes clinic is already discussing no longer offering family medicine if Smith wins and passes the things she has talked about. That's 5000 - 10,000 patients who will lose their family doctor.
