We all hope that but it's hard to ignore this season he's had. Even last night you could tell Dave reigned him in with simple concepts as all the completions were short to intermediate on crossing routes and passes to the flat where the receivers were wide open. He didn't throw many if any in a tight window and the only deep throw was the one into the corner of the end zone where he wasn't on the same page as his receiver which has been the case most of the season. I hope he can bring back some magic in the playoffs (assuming the make it) as the defense and special teams are solid as is the running back. It's just tough to win in the playoffs when the QB is your weakest position.

TSN has been garbage with their CFL scheduling this year. To not put either CFL game today on TSN1 which comes with basic cable is just a bull#### decision. Gotta show that pre Olympic curling. Screw you TSN!!!

I can't believe how many helmet to helmet tackles there were in this game. Horrible job of officiating in this one.

I'm surprised the board of directors is letting Sunderland sign players into next year as I get the feeling there's going to be a major houscleaing after the season. Supposedly less than 10k in attendance as the club is hitting all-time lows and Terry Jones seems to have a little bit of pull (no idea why) as he played a role in Hervey getting the boot.

The reffing has been particularly atrocious this season. It’s been a rough year overall for the cfl, especially when nfl primtime games are killing it this season, and having reffing this bad is only making it worse.

Non stop holding calls on every big play and every return, these awful roughing the passer calls where a guy’s hand touches a QB’s foot, missed headshots.

I get the cfl is going to have less consistency given their lower pay scale but getting the basics right shouldn’t be that hard when you’ve got video review.


When I look at attendance and the quality of play I’m so worried about the future of this league. All 9 teams must be bleeding money the last 2 years. I swear there were like 500 people in commonwealth for that ticats game this week.

Attendance has been brutal. Of course the pandemic is playing a role but I think the the fan base is eroding fast across the country. One thing you notice watching the games over the weekend is the empty seats in every stadium. It's the first time I can ever remember Edmontonians not attending games as even in the Macocia years they would get 30k a game. Now they are getting 10k at most. I do wonder when the year is over and they realize how much money they lost if the CFL revisits talks with the XFL. I don't know if they can continue to have nobody in attendance at games for another season.
