I really hate the outcome, but the American public has spoken and chosen their President. It is going to be very weird waking up tomorrow in a country where the President-elect is Donald Trump and that all that was said during the election, all of those horrible things, is the reality we will have to face for the future. The thing that scares me the most is a Trump presidency, a Republican congress, a Republican senate, and as a result, a conservative supreme court. It may be a very scary country to face in the very near future.
Congratulations Mr. Trump. You ran a campaign that will be studied, and struggle to understand, for decades to come.

It is the end of American leadership in the world, in all likelihood. The empire in decline has fallen and will be left behind, save for whatever violent death-throes remain to it. It was bound to happen, but who could predict it would happen so soon.
Or maybe everything will be fine.
Holy hell.

The foreign leader who Trump has the closest affinity with is the autocrat who runs Russia. They're popping champagne in Moscow right now, while all of the traditional allies of the U.S. are deeply dismayed.

It wasn't about minorities because the Supreme Court, thanks to Scalia, gutted the Voting Rights Act, which allowed NC and other states to limit the voters in minority counties.
So now we have a president who's going to replace Scalia with someone far worse.
As this hits me, I'm more and more certain that I just need to take off work tomorrow. I'm not sure I can handle this.

Congress looks after their own turf. Overall Congress has low approval ratings, but I bet among their constituents they are well liked.

Clinton is doing fine in diverse wealthy areas. The Midwest cost her the election. How many factories is Trump actually going to bring back in 4 years? Negative I bet.

CNN is pretty funny. Wolf is creaking out and scrambling for any chance Clinton might have.
Gotta give John King credit. The man knows his numbers and the effects of the various counties.

You think Clinton could win at least 1 or 2 battleground states. They are all going to Trump. I can't believe this.

I don't see why. Unless the people visiting it don't understand how immigration to Canada works.

If that is the case then Hillary hitched herself to the wrong wagon. Hispanics apparently did their jobs blacks did not. Trump got the rustbelt vote out.

Of course it exists. But it isn't the reason Trump won.
People are pissed off. Obama was the 'see if this still works' candidate. Sanders would have been the better choice but the Clinton camp made sure that never happened. Democrats have nobody to blame but themselves.
