I really hate the outcome, but the American public has spoken and chosen their President. It is going to be very weird waking up tomorrow in a country where the President-elect is Donald Trump and that all that was said during the election, all of those horrible things, is the reality we will have to face for the future. The thing that scares me the most is a Trump presidency, a Republican congress, a Republican senate, and as a result, a conservative supreme court. It may be a very scary country to face in the very near future.

Congratulations Mr. Trump. You ran a campaign that will be studied, and struggle to understand, for decades to come.

It is the end of American leadership in the world, in all likelihood. The empire in decline has fallen and will be left behind, save for whatever violent death-throes remain to it. It was bound to happen, but who could predict it would happen so soon.

Or maybe everything will be fine.

It wasn't about minorities because the Supreme Court, thanks to Scalia, gutted the Voting Rights Act, which allowed NC and other states to limit the voters in minority counties.

So now we have a president who's going to replace Scalia with someone far worse.

People are pissed off. Obama was the 'see if this still works' candidate. Sanders would have been the better choice but the Clinton camp made sure that never happened. Democrats have nobody to blame but themselves.
