No doubt that Hilary is a Turd sandwich. However, Trump is a Turd sandwich filled with with broken glass, barbed wire and herpes. Given the choice I'd take the less painful option.

The Republican Party and Democractic Party are equally corrupt as a whole. Bush was a war monger & so was Obama.
The one candidate I thought was probably the best person to ever run for the GOP nomination was Ron Paul. Everything about him seemed so right.

Forgetting about your Clinton murder charges for the moment...I ,too, liked Ron Paul but let's not try to pretend that he wasn't a crazy person.

Melania's statement:
"The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me," Melania Trump said in a statement. "This does not represent the man that I know. He has the heart and mind of a leader. I hope people will accept his apology, as I have, and focus on the important issues facing our nation and the world."

The tightrope that Republican politicians find themselves on is basically an impossible position.
If they don't fully rebuke Trump, they seriously damage their short-term general election prospects.
If they do rebuke Trump, they seriously damage their reputation amongst their core and open the door to primary challenges and defeats, as well as closing the door to ever mounting a presidential run themselves.
It's ironic that in the election in which a rejection of political correctness is a big part of the Republican movement, hundreds of republicans are currently grappling with trying to figure out what is the politically correct stance for them to take to avoid offending all their supporters who claim to be against political correctness.

Is "being the last Republican undamaged" really even going to matter by the next election cycle?
That party is so damaged, and moving more and more to an unwinable set of policies that it's probably going to fracture. The Country Club Republicans will break off from the Rowdy Hick Republicans.

Not really. While I agree that both parties have issues, one of them is far worse. And as far as main stream articles are concerned, I deal in facts, not batsht crazy conspiracy theory sites.
Ron Paul? The guy that signed his name to racist articles back in the day and posed with the owners of Stormfront? The guy that opposes civil rights? That Ron Paul?

New defense: We (and they) get it.....right?
Quote:
About his sexually charged statements caught on tape, Mr. Trump said, “People get it. They get life.”
Asked about the reaction of the two women with whom he is closest, wife Melania Trump and daughter Ivanka Trump, he replied: “I was with Ivanka yesterday; I’m with Melania now. They fully understand, and they’re very loyal.”

Random crazy stuff you'd never thought you'd see in an election: a presidential campaign has now been rebuked by two different small, hard-candy brands over two separate incidents.

We've now had Skittles and Tic Tac have to make statements on this election. The election of the absurd.

What do you honestly believe the worst case scenario of a Hillary Clinton presidency is?
