The Jays 2nd round pick Brady Signer opted not to sign with the Jays. They will pick 57th next year instead.

I am doing my best at keeping my heart rate at a normal level and to not be overcome with complete and total rage at the sight of Dickey on the mound.

When (if) changes are made, I really hope Loup is one of the guys gone, there is no way he should ever enter the game with a one run lead. He is more of a mop up kind of guy.

I want to see a starting pitcher punch either Gibbons or a bullpen pitcher.

Good win today. Some great defence and pretty darned good pitching as well. Winning a series against a divisional opponent that brings the team back to .500, I will take it.

The Jays scored twice as many runs in 7 innings, then in previous 22 innings coming to today's game against Archer. And we won! Awesome!

Sanchez will be back next week, but in the bullpen. It should help the bullpen, bullpen but with Doubront in the rotation it doesn't help the starter pitching.

Anyone else heading over to Seattle for the games this weekend? Should be awesome. Looks like some great weather and we get to see King Felix pitch.

Flying out Thursday night and I can't wait. Haven't seen the Jays play live in probably 15 years. Go Jays!

Just an ugly game tonight

I am interested to see if the Jays leave Oakland with a 1 or 2 new arms for their pitching staff.

Last I heard he'll be re-evaluated at the end of July. If he's fit for service I imagine the next time we see him would be in the latter half of August (gotta figure his rehab stint in the mionors would be at least a couple of weeks).
