Not sure how serious this is but as read by Grant Pollock on Global News tonight, someone who knows someone at the phone company said they have changed Iginla's phone number to a Boston area one and he's already there.
So I guess rumoured now and still is Iggy to Boston.
Ok since its been moved...sounds like a long time poster from here is either gullible enough to buy the story from many years back when Iginla was seen at the Telus store and was there to change his number from a Calgary one (fanblogger?), or a highly gullible Pollock grasping onto anything possible that may allow him to break a story that isn't there.
I am sure a Flames beat reporter in Chicago who travels with the team can confirm that Iginla was in town all day.
OMFG! Grant Pollock had an email from a guy, who has a friend that works for a phone company. That email says Iginla called in to change his number from Calgary to Boston.
It must be true, it's on news.
That's not how phone numbers work.

I still think he'll be here after the trade deadline. I can even see Feaster and co. adding a piece if we go on a little run in the next couple games. (I have no faith in this organization anymore.)
That being said, if they do trade him, I'm hoping a 1st round pick is coming back. Assuming we finish with a pick in the 5-8 range, then our two first round picks could be packaged up to try and move into the top 3 and get the franchise player we need.
Throw in our first rounder next year, or maybe a second rounder, or even TJ Brodie and maybe we'll get that done. I know some people might be against including more, but for a player of Hamilton's calibre, I certainly would be willing to offer more than Jarome.

Grant Pollock's friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Iginla pass out in Boston last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
