ya they are 1-2 easily

Lloris/Buffon behind and then it's a big gap

Hart isn't in form

DDG still needs to improve his presence

Reina is past it

Jurgen Klinnsman is a terrible manager

just read anything any of the former Bayern/Germany players have to say about him

"We practiced little more than fitness. Tactical things were neglected. The players had to get together before [the games] to discuss how we wanted to play. After six or eight weeks, all players knew it wouldn't work with Klinsmann. The rest of the season was damage limitation."

Portugal tie it at the death.

Such an important goal. If they went three points back of Israel for that second spot, I don't see them coming back. Now they are back to being tied and five games left. Despite portugal's stumbling, I still like them to beat out Israel.

This is the best Olic has played in years. He's finally healthy and is such a tank when he contributes at 100%. Great game from him.

Hart, Walker, Baines, Cleverley, Lescott, Smalling, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lampard, Defoe, Rooney, Young.

surprised at Young, I know basically every other wide English player is injured but still a little shocked

also, shouldn't the Captain play in every match when fit? isn't that part of the whole thing in picking a captain?

So today De Guzman will be capped by the Netherlands, officially making him Dutch. Good riddance - time for Canadian fans to move on.
