Camera thought to be an 8MP one:

I can live with a lower MP count if it has greater dynamic range... my GN is pretty bad in low light conditions.

I know Imagine Wireless (Rogers) just started carrying them too.

I own the 5200 mAh micro USB version. I can charge my tablet (Nexus 7, first gen) and phone at the same time!

Charges at a rate of 2.1 amps, which is faster than my car charger.
I bought this before I went to Machu Picchu this year for charging on the go:

http://www.mec.ca/product/5031-524/p...power%2Bmonkey

In the end I didn't even need to bother with the solar charger though. The 9000 mAh battery kinda didn't require it

Google will announce a Nexus watch, codenamed Gem, likely together with the KitKat announcement.
Not a huge interest for me, I've never been a watch guy but should be neat for some.

Hulu+ app now works on Chromecast. Wish this thing would just go on sale here in Canada.

Wish I had bought a screen protector for my Nexus 4, as it seems a lot more susceptible to scratches than any of my previous phones have been. I'm not really doing anything different at all, but I've got one decent sized scratch, and a couple of small ones. Not happy right now. It's my own fault ultimately.

^ as I posted before, BodyGuardz makes a great screen protector for the Nexus 4.

2 in a pack. 4 to 5 months of life for each one. Usually around $15 for the pack.

I believe locally. Try Imagine Wireless (Rogers).

I read somewhere that the service manual, which was leaked over the weekend, didn't have that 3000mAh battery listed for the 32GB model, but showed the 2300 mAh battery instead.

I won't hold my breathe on it having a bigger battery until it gets officially announced.

Work gave me a Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone. It says Google right on the back of it and then Samsung underneath that. It is running 4.3, baseband version I9250XXLJ1, kernel version 3.0.72-gfb3c9ac, build #JWR66Y.

Being new to Android I don't know much but I have heard that stock Android is what you want to be running. I thought all Google Nexus devices run stock Android on them...but my coworkers are saying that it is not stock Android on this device and that I have to root it and put a different rom on it etc etc.

I don't care about custom roms...I just want stock Android..is that what I have?

Yours is identical to mine, and unless someone went out of their way to put something else on it (doesn't sound like it), it is in fact running stock Android. It is also unlocked by default and can be used on any network.

Kind of bland, they didn't even try to make something as nice looking as the Nexus 4.

I like that Google goes with different designs each time out with their Nexus phones but yeah, pretty boring bland design. If it's some sort of rubbery soft back then I suppose it's okay but I do really love the gorgeous glass back of the Nexus 4.

An anonymous source tells me that the Nexus 5 will be announced next week and will be available November 7th.
