If my wife was anything like that I'd jump off a friggin bridge.
Skyler is literally the only thing I dislike on Breaking Bad.
I was kind of thinking the same thing.
I think the character would be better if they made her more fragile and less of a snotty cow. I want to have sympathy for the character, but they make it difficult. I never look forward to her scenes.

I know my wife would act worse than Skylar if someone was coming to our home to kill her and my kids because of something I've done. Somethings she has asked me to stop doing for years.

Have you people forgotten the things that he has done to her and around her? If you guys acted like Walter and came home hoping acceptance and help from your wife you wouldn't have to worry about nagging or jumping off a bridge because you'd be in jail. I think some of you have gotten too attached to rooting for the protagonist and forgetting that he has been an ahole.
What gets me about Skylar, is that she treats everyone around as incompetent, while never taking ownership over how dangerously stupid many of her own actions have been.
Watched Charlie Rose last night and Vince Gilligan was the guest being interviewed. I can't find the full video online, but it was a great interview that made me hard for the upcoming finale.
Was pretty interesting to hear the the X-Files played a huge role in how Breaking Bad came to be. Also heard from Vince that Bryan Cranston will be directing the first episode back. Awesome.

I'm really tempted to try and pick this show up to get to the end. I watched the first two seasons and enjoyed them, but then just couldn't get into Season 3 after trying the premier twice. I'm not sure, are those two Mexican guys supposed to be scary?
Anyway, the hype for the end of the show is working on me I guess.

Season 3 finale is one of the best cliffhangers ever! and you don't even have to wait now.
I don't get why people like Mike or hate that Walter killed him.
The guy was nothing but a complete ass to Walter since the first day they met and even attempted to kill him.
It seems that everyone forget that Mike wasnt exactly an angel. He's gone crooked since he left the force and he's killed countless people for a druglord.

Mike had it coming
I think it's because Mike was made into a sympathetic character by all the parallels between himself and Walt. His suggested honest beginnings and fall into crime. His love for family and the motive of providing for his grand daughters future with the accounts in her name. Even his eventual bonding with Jessie and going from thinking he's a complete waste and a lost cause to seeing his potential and trying to steer him right. Mike slowly gets revealed to be more than just a villian while at the same time Walt falls from noble intentions into becoming a villian himself.

Mike had it coming
At that point Mike is a much more sympathetic character then Walt.
Was I the only one who woke up today thinking it premiered today? Then I googled it and found out we have to wait another week... Ruined my day right there and then.
Also, Mike may have been a criminal but he had principle. He had a code and he stuck to it. People respect that. He didn't kill kids, he killed other criminals. I love the scene where he punches Walt in the bar for asking him to kill Gus.

Agreed. Just want to add, Mike also plays within the rules. Like the whole honor among thieves adage. Walt has shown that he's willing do anything to anyone at anytime, and has screwed people over many times. He's thrown pretty much everyone under the bus at one time or another.
They're both criminals, but one has more 'honor' than the other.
I hated Mike and was glad when Walt finished him. He was a thug and had no rightful high horse.
I disagree that Walt throws people under the bus. He is just a big picture guy, no different than Mike who likely killed a lot of bystanders on behalf of Gus (who was downright evil).
I was glad when Mike was killed.
