Well from STL I'd imagine if they offered Parayko, Fabbri, Schwartz and a 1st maybe Treliving wouldn't hang up the phone right away? I dunno.
Brodie ain't going anywhere and we should be happy about that

No way should Brodie be traded. The flames need to build around their elite players, not trade them hoping that if they keep moving players around eventually they will have a winner. About a week ago, someone phoned into the fan to recommend the flames trade Brodie and their 2017 1st to the oil for RNH and their 2016 first explaining they could then draft the Finns like Vancouver did the Sedins. I'd never heard something so shocking in my life!

it's unfortunate that he picked that stretch, Brodie had a rough night last night
Would be a shame if he didn't make it because the GM scouted a bad couple games

Hopefully Brodie purposely tanked these games so he doesn't have to go to this stupid exhibition tournament. Don't need him tiring himself out or getting injured.

Great news. Hopefully they're all gone by the deadline.
Except Hiller. He's important when it comes to the tank.

This week might be better than anticipated. Hiller to STL or SJ for whatever. They need vet goalies the most.

That makes me so incredibly happy. Except the last guy, but I'm pretty much resigned to that fact now. I will continue to wear his jersey to the Dome forever.

Geez.. I hope DD is right on this one.
I'm all but done with Colborne and his gentle giant play.. His hits piss me off to no end. He skates to the guy and goes through the motions and basically just leans against guys trying to show he's finishing a check.

jones?!
i've got a hudler jersey (gift) but i'd be happy to wear that even after he goes. He was a solid Calgary Flame during his tenure here.

In any human activity the truly best are head and shoulders above the average, even in the extremes of the bell curve. You don't ever want to trade quality for quantity.
Unless of course it's a crazy deal and you hit gold on multiple pieces. Like the Nordique did with Lindros.
Quote:
So looking down the line, Quebec received Forsberg, Roy, Tanguay, Blake and other key players for Lindros.

I really wish we weren't shopping Jooris. His underlying stats are very strong.
After making this mistake with Byron, I really don't understand how it could happen again with Jooris.

Steady trade talk league wide. Cgy Flames with a list of players in play. Russell, Hudler, Colborne, Jooris, Hiller and Jones. #TradeCentre

Which stats?
I really don't think Jooris is anything special, he's completely replaceable. Same with Byron.
