ffffffuuuuuuuu.... taking my dogs to a kennel tomorrow and just discovered one of them is 3 months overdue for her Rabies vaccine. Why did I not get a notification from the vet and why did I also not look into this earlier?! Balls!!!

You can help the vet out by pre-determining if your dog is rabid - rub your arm with raw steak, and then present it to the animal to entice it to bite. You may need to encourage the dog for some time if it is shy about biting the hand that feeds, but persevere and the dog will eventually give in. Do not allow more than one bite so that it doesn't become fond of the taste of human.

If, after a few days, you don't feel like gnawing on your family, random passers-by, and nosy government officials, it's safe to have your dog contact other animals such as you will find at a vet's office.

Someone told me on Friday night that he believes human life and chicken life to be morally equivalent. I have now sunk into a deep depression regarding the future of modern humanity.

Just lop off a chicken's head in front of him next time.

There are a few debates that make me feel that way.

I don't need to agree with everyone, but you should have a sound basis for belief. And even if you don't, at least agree it is irrational and accept that people aren't going to be convinced "just because", or recognize that it is a subjective answer and just because it is something you don't like does not make it inherently "bad".

Opinions are like anuses. Everyone has one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

Knock him out, and take him to an abandoned warehouse where you've previously brought two live chickens. Then wake him up and tell him, "I'm giving you a choice - either I kill these chickens, or I kill you. Two lives... for one. What's it gonna be?"

After he picks the chickens to get it, let them go and tell him that his arguments actually convinced you, and you were just testing him to see if he wanted to lead the Free Chicken Army in a guerrilla campaign versus the human oppressors. Unfortunately he has failed, and therefore can't be allowed to live and betray the cause. After all, the *chickens* aren't going to call the cops once they're free, are they?

The ending to Werner Herzog's Stroszek that allegedly made Ian Curtis of Joy Division kill himself. I think it applies to your comment.

My internet was just out at work for 3 hours... and I was freaking out without my 10 minute CP break.

See what really depressed me is that I have an idea of a philosophical anthropology etc... but most of my friends ended up agreeing with the chicken asshat. We are screwed as a civilization.

Ask your assistant for her opinion.
