Flames fans and small sample sizes…
It’s one game. He was clearly off his game and you could see it from puck drop. Saros got shelled tonight too. We watched 20+ of these games from Markstrom last year alone too..
It’s a learning experience. #### happens.

Yup. Just start him on the road next time so that he doesn't have the pressure of the home crowd and can start building some confidence.

That’s actually exactly what it is when you’re rebuilding and your young players have out-developed your minor league team.

Flames team wasn't much help either.
Terrible turnovers, not taking away sticks on tips, and overall sloppy defensively.
Wolf was no good too but the team didn't give him much support over the final 40.

Nope
It’s always professional at these prices
Every bad showing at the beginning = pressure
The clock ticks and if you don’t deliver, you’re expendable/a liability

Have a look at every one of these guys stats at the age of 22:
Backlund
Coleman
Mangiapane
Weegar
Andersson
Markstrom
Tell me again how the NHL is not a development league.

Cripes man. If you think you know who a player is when he’s in the NHL at 22, and that there is no more development (ie experience) for him to gain.
Why are we even talking… you haven’t been paying attention the last 30 to forever years
