Great patience. He knew he just had to wait for Smith to make snow angels and he could get it over him. That was some sorta pretty.

How many Flames wingers have scored hat tricks against Edmonton in the last few years?

Michael Frolik
Mason Raymond
Curtis Glencross
Lee Stempniak
Jarome Iginla
Rene Bourque, maybe?

Anyone I'm missing?

Maybe Mangiapane can join the club

Honestly, I thought that was pretty dirty of Giordano.

McDavid avoided it though, so I don't know why he's crying about it.

Mangiapane always showin' up during Oilers games.

Mangiapane’s compete level is bloody awesome, and Tkachuk can have the C anytime. Gaudreau can’t be a ghost in the third...

McDavid needs to step up for himself and fight Gio. That's the only way he will get any respect in the league.

Honestly we need to relax about the broadcast crew.

The game is on the ice. And that's going pretty well right now.

If McDavid thought it was dirty he should fight him.

I don’t think it was intentional at all, but Gio did get his leg out a bit there. Listening to the commentary though, you’d think he straight up axe murdered McCrossover.

Connor is so in tune with his own body that there's no way he could accidentally run into somebody. Weren't you guys listening?

Hip check ever so slightly grazing McDavid = blatant intentional knee + at the very least interference + 5 minute screaming meltdown + reference to previous season ending injury last season

Some clipped Neal’s knee, that what McDavid was bitching about, not the hit on his.

Commentators see no one but McD.

It’s games like this where I see more Val Bure in Johnny then someone like Fleury/St. Louis. Just a disappearing act when the games are intense and physical.

I seem to recall a lot of complaining about Mangiapane not being a top 6 forward yesterday.
