Not sure what Gallant was thinking sending Reaves out to be a dbag right after the 4-2 goal. There was exactly zero chance of the officials giving Vegas a powerplay out of anything he could possibly have done.

Should have stayed focused on playing hockey instead.

Knights finally back down to earth.

ALLCAPS at this point. Hoping Vegas wins game 5 so then there's at least last weekend game. Better for cup to be awarded on a weekend night, rather than a weeknight.

I still don't like Oshie and I find him dirty.

Not like he's terrible or anything, just the little dirty streak that he has in him. It comes to the surface at times. He's been more on the receiving end of dirt in his career, just little things here or there I notice with him. Rubs me the wrong way.

He hit his head on the back of Oshie’s helmet. They showed it on the replay. Didn’t look like an elbow.

Hopefully one more game and this debacle will finally be over.

Stanley Cup contending expansion team. What a sick joke.

There were 2 plays in question and neither was dirty by any stretch.

Don't run your face into the back of his helmet when you are trying to lay him out & don't try to lay him out when you are in a puck race or you might lose.

He had just as much right to the ice he was fighting for as the other guy on both plays.

nothing dirty about that hit, just like i thought Neal's hit on Orpik was on the edge, but not a penalty

Oshie still hit the unsuspecting guy that was skating without the puck..... "Reverse hit" is when the puck carrier has the puck, no?

Anyway, it was just one example. Not the first time he's done little stuff like that. Rubs me the wrong way.

Still happy the Caps won.

What unsuspecting guy though? His hits were all defending himself from people taking runs at him.

I don't know Vegas well enough off hand. I believe it was #6.

He wasn't taking a run at Oshie. Oshie didn't even have the puck anymore. Looked like he was going to go around Oshie and chase the puck and Oshie took him out.

Game was over regardless of if you think the hit was questionable so I don't see the point in continuing to debate it. Not sure if the pressure finally got to the Knights or not but the Capitals are simply the better team in this series by a considerable margin.

Oshie lovefest in full swing.

Whats the difference in what Oshie did and a goalie dropping the puck back to his defencemen (behind the net) and stepping into a forechecker, and the goalie getting called for interference? which happens quite frequently throughout the season.

Again, I'm glad the Caps won, but I don't get how it's deemed "clean" by any means.

Late here, so goodnight all.

One is a legal NHL play and the other is not...

Maybe you’re talking about a different play? The two on Miller were totally fine and instigated by Miller in the first place.

Yeah maybe. Or maybe I saw it wrong. I miss my PVR.

Anyways, goodnight all.

Kuznetsov is the prohibitive Conn Smythe winner after this game. What a performance in both the last two.
