Point taken, but regardless of his save % or GAA, Talbot was a beast in that Anaheim series. Fatigue didn't look like a factor at all in his game and he was the only reason why that series went 7 games.
I like you, expected him to burn out after his workload this year, simply didn't happen. Which is surprising considering playing behind the Oilers meant he would see more rubber throughout the season.
If he can string 2 seasons together like this past year I would consider him one of the best in the game.
Remarkable season and playoffs by him. The only oiler ill give any credit to.
