Full credit to Liverpool for the fightback, but what the hell happened to Dortmund? Don't ever take your foot off the gas...

Wow Dortmund choked that away. I was regretting not wearing my BVB jersey to work just to rub it in the face of the big Liverpool fan in the office but now I'm glad I didn't!

Worth noting every thing changed when Welsh Xavi came on. Just saying....

Gotta say, Lovren and Sakho owed us those goals.

I am still totally stunned. Wow. Just....
With Dortmund out we stand a real shot at winning this thing.
I cannot believe we beat Dortmund.

Your continued persistence about the co-efficient is admirable given that Spurs are easily going to the UCL next year. I think you can stop worrying about finishing 4th and being left out.

to be fair, keeping that 4th spot beyond this year is a great thing, no matter which team you support.

For sure and I was mostly bugging diane a little. I don't think England is going to have to worry about co-efficient for a while though, things appear to be on the upswing.

If both Liverpool and Man City win Europa/Champions League then 4th place would be left out. It's a stretch I know but just thought I'd point that out.

ya not worried about Spurs moreso the league in general, and next year is already fine
but if Italy had really outperformed this year it would be the season after thats in trouble

Thats not right, is it? England will get 5 qualifiers if a team wins Europa and doesn't qualify through league standing. So for 4th to not get included, both the CL and EL winning teams would have to be lower than 4th in the standings.

Yeah. I should've added that City and Liverpool have to finish outside of the top 4 for the 4th to be excluded.
