That final Sharapova-Kerber game was utterly insane, Sharapova fights off 5 match points but cannot seal the game. It will be a French Open rematch in the quarters, but Kerber-Bouchard and not Sharapova-Bouchard.

At least we won't have to hear the endless narratives about Bouchard playing her hero again and hoping to beat her. I'm waiting for the day Genie gives someone the death stare or throws one of her stuffed animals at a member of the media when they ask her about idolizing Sharapova. Although, hearing her recently say "We aren't friends" so bluntly was pretty amazing in its own right.

She should just not answer those questions. Have you heard that at the World Cup if you call James Rodriguez the English pronunciation "JAMES" he just walks away.

You tend to win more matches than you lose when you have 40 more winners than your opponent. I would say it's Nadal next but he's been a mess so far so not sure he'll get past Kyrgios.

Also Serena appears to be having a total meltdown on the doubles court before the match even starts.

I'll give the media members who don't cover or follow tennis a pass, only because the Canadian Press pronouncers are brutal. For Milos, they have Meelosh Ray-OH-Nitch. I'm gathering AP is no better.

However, for the people who cover tennis on a regular basis, there's no excuse. You can always just ask the player, "How do you want us to pronounce your name?". They rarely get upset and appreciate the clarification.
