it's Dunc Wilson. I'm trying to figure out the number thing, but Dunc Wilson is correct.

Not sure if these next photos might help but from a reliable website. The mask appears to be correct but the number is 1 in one photo and 31 in the other. Possible he was 1 for one season and 31 for another.

^ I think I figured it out: New York claimed him off waivers late in the '74-75 season where he played 3 games. He was backup to John Davidson for '75-76, after Ed Giacomin (who wore #1) was claimed by Detroit. Looks like #1 just got recycled to Wilson (and later that year Doug Soetart).
(Jeez, why can't I take my job this seriously?!)
