Stop quitting or forming two 3 man teams when we have six players!! If you really don't like playing a full 6 man game tell me and I'll leave, because playing a 3 man game is pretty crappy when we could be playing a 6 man game.

I prefer full man team games. Much more fun to have everyone involved in one game rather then 3 in two games.

Playing with a full complement of players is even more important when you are playing against good teams. CPU D-men can be exposed easily (dangles, wristers, wraps) & a CPU goalie can be glitched (short side 5-hole, protect puck wrap, high zone wrister). If you play against a good team who have 6 players, and yet you are playing with 4, the team of 4 is at a serious disadvantage. Having a 6-man game gives you the best chance to win, and also gets you more points for the standings if you win. Humans > CPU.

It also prevents pass calling from the CPU. But it also depends on the players you have on at the time...we were mainly forwards with none of our defensive dmen on and our faceoff guy would have been stuck on LD.

That's why I've set my guy up so I can win faceoffs, play wing, defend against opposing forwards, and play goal. Versatility FTW! Or, I'm just the team bitch.. getting thrown around to the last position available.

Meh...you just have to be willing to try. I prefer D, but I'll give forward a shot every now and then...and I'll go in nets anytime. Why limit yourself to just one position?

Maybe if the EA store loaded up faster it would be better. In fact they should have separate load outs in NHL 11 like call of duty so you don't always have to reset your boosts and stats to maximize your position. I don't think it's really ideal to be a jack of all trades but master of none...the XP system pretty much prevents that with the way it scales.

I just hate how they lock in your EXP stats, they should give you the ability to scale up and down whenever you want within a player build.
Anyways, on at 9.
