Just to your point Cap about the Cody story line, I am very happy to see this get a Disney+ treatment, but part of me does wish this was happening in the animation studio so we could see some more deep dives into the post order 66 world with all the different Jedi and Clone Troopers.
The Bad Batch animated series should cover some of that territory, at least with the clones.

Up until now Cody's fate is in Canon, He basically becomes a real bastard after Order 66 in the comics. The Empire starts using conscripts, and they're nowhere near what Cody was serving with in the Clone army, they're subpar soldiers who hate the clones. Cody is commissioned to train them into the 501st, but hates every aspect of it believing that they can never ever matchup to the Clones. He does believe in the ideals of the New World Order. But he doesn't care about the men who serve under him or who he trains. He basically sends them out on suicide missions and enjoys it when they die.
He mourns as more and more clone troopers die or are retired due to the speed of their aging. But has a lot of respect for Vader, who leads his men a lot like Anakin did except with more saber run throughs and force choking.
It was really a sad end for Cody who became the anti-Rex. In Rebels I wanted nothing more then Cody and Rex running into each other on the battle field and taking off their helmets.

You can just go ahead and hook that straight to my god damn veins.
That animation is next level. Lots of cool little tidbits in that trailer.

Rumours flying around that Brie Larson has been cast as a Jedi in an unknown movie/show of some sort.
She threw some fuel on the fire as well through social media. Various outlets reporting it, I've seen a few I consider reputable but not my main usual sources yet.
I actually think her tone and demeanor would be perfect for a Jedi.

I read that too, she's supposed to play a character named Maeve who's more powerful than Vader/Luke/ Rey. I'm pretty skeptical of how this may turn out. Larson even admits she wasn't hired for other Star Wars roles she auditioned for.
That article says she's gonna be more powerful than Luke and Vader combined.
Frankly I'm not sure I like the sound of that. Reminds me of the sequels; whenever a problem prevents itself, Rey just reaches into bottomless bag of force powers and literally hand waves the problem away.

But will she be more powerful then StarKiller. Or from the novels Kyp Durran. You know pulling Star Destroyers out of orbit. Pushing Super Star Destroyers out of solar systems. Destroying Planets with a flick of their fingers?
That's one thing that for a long time really hurt the Legends Novels, they'd force their way out of every situation.
In my mind there should really be a once in a thousands of year Force beast.
In the EU you had Tenebre (sp) Vitiate, who was basically able to devour souls to become immortal, but he still died. On the other side you had Revan who was incredibly powerful, but he followed Vader, went Dark, then was redeemed.
Then thousands of years later you really had Palpatine who was a expression of the Dark Side of the Force, uber powerful. You had Skywalker, the chosen one who was enormously powerful, then you had a guy like Yoda. Kenobi wasn't a uber being.
I don't think they need to roll out another uber being so soon, I mean its the Superman Quandary. When Superman came out he was unbeatable, so they started having to roll out more powerful super villains, basically god creatures.
Why not flip the switch and have a really weak Jedi. You know, could barely lift a glass, her force speed was more like Force job, She sucks with the Light Sabre, but somehow finds a way using her more non jedi like powers.

I look forward to the inevitable "power level" chart like Dragonball has, but for Star Wars midichlorian counts. It's really amusing to see regular 10-100x jumps in character power in Dragonball, and it sounds like they're going to do the same thing in Star Wars!
