Hello, it’s me, a lurker coming out of the woods. I’m embarrassed of my username. I might have to make a new account. But for now, I am here for the party!
Hey Bingo, in light of the new found influx of users, I feel a one time amnesty on username changes should be allowed. Gotta give a little to get a little!

I wonder if Hanifin's agent sucked in the Flames to Vegas saying he'd sign there, and then they got so far along with the transaction, but couldn't come to a long term signing agreement, and took some peices out.
I know the hours are getting thin, but you think there would be more than a few teams willing to give you a 1st, a B prospect and a conditional pick in the next few days for a #2 defenseman, retained, of Hanifin's quality.
And I still think Tanev would get more, even from Dallas, if they waited and took offers this week as opposed to last week. Dallas won 7-6 vs SJ with Tanev in the lineup (and he was a plus).
It is very Flames that the market the one year they are sellers appears to be very soft.
I can't think of a return so far where I've went "Oof that's an over payment" except for maybe Henrique and Monahan...which maybe followed the Lindholm overpayment.
Monahan returned a 1st. Freaking 34 year oldAdam Henrique returned a 1st.
I think Conroy just isn’t very good at this. His trade returns have been largely underwhelming. This one is particularly brutal. Like even Jay Feaster did better than this.

Boys, this isn't some hockey trade where we get to extract proper value...
This is a Good UFA rental that had an asshat of an agent telling everyone he won't re-sign.
When all 3 teams know they can possibly sign him in the summer and there is no real bidding war you take what you can get.
This is fair value considering all the hoops Conroy had to jump through.

Everyone else is doing it... Been here since 2003, signed up in 2011 while witnessing Wannamaker make history... only to see this underwhelming return.
Here's hoping to my 7th post being about us winning the cup in the new 'dome.
Stay thirsty for victory, friends.

GM old boy's club with Seravelli as a mouthpiece continuously sh*tting on the return, with an old boy's club agent overdoing it behind the scenes all to really put a rookie GM in a bad spot.
For a rental, it isn't bad. I am guessing Brisson stuck his interfering face in and insisted Noah would never sign with them. That has obviously affected the return.
Doesn't much matter. We got something. We sat here for two years bemoaning letting UFAs walk. Now we got something for them. A lot of something. A 1st is a great piece.
We forget we build up these trade fantasies and try to will them into reality.
I was hoping he'd get a center but it wasn't in the cards.
Now we can wash our hands of the old core.
Moving on.
