Jon Gillies does something not many goalies have been able to do this season. He kept the Arnold-Gaudreau-Hayes line off the score sheet in the first period.
0-0 after 1 in Providence.

For only the fifth time this season, Gaudreau's name is not on the score sheet after two periods.
BC got one past Gillies in the second, and lead 1-0 after 2.
Gaudreau leads the game in shots at 5. Arnold and Gilmour each have 1 shot and Jankowski has 2. Both Arnold (10-10) and Jankowski (7-7) are 50% in the dot.

i wonder what the over under is on him to keep his point streak alive till the end of the regular season..
They have two games against U Mass-Lowell at the end of February. Lowell has the lowest GA in Hockey East, so that's the most likely team to hold him off the score sheet.
So far, he has only been held point less in one game this season, and that was against top-ranked Minnesota.

The other day, the Flames put up an interview with Westgarth talking about Shnarped, which is a hockey-specific social media app that was created by a couple of his teammates from College and which he has some role with.
It's actually a really good way to keep track of the prospects. You have to add them each individually, but once you have, it updates your news feed with the player's stats for each game.
It's a nice one-stop shop for tracking these guys rather than looking up all the scores separately. Definitely worth the download if you have an iPhone or Android.
For example, I was able to see that there was more Flame vs Flame action on Saturday:
Vancouver played Victoria in the WHL. Victoria won 3-2, Kulak had 1A and was a -1, Kanzig was even with no points.
Colgate played Yale in the NCAA. Yale won 4-1, Harrison had 4 shots and was a -1, Agostino had 2A and 5 shots.
