The United States is treating a reported plot to kill a Sikh separatist on American soil with utmost seriousness and has raised the issue with the Indian government "at the senior-most levels," the White House said on Wednesday.
The Financial Times reported, citing unnamed sources, that U.S. authorities thwarted a plot to kill a Sikh separatist in the United States and issued a warning to India over concerns the government in New Delhi was involved.
The paper identified Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who says he is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada, as the target of the foiled plot.
The report comes two months after Canada said there were "credible" allegations linking Indian agents to the June murder of a Sikh separatist leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in a Vancouver suburb, something India has rejected.

It’s BS grasping at straws. He doesn’t do any of those things stated but a surprised snap shot with hundreds of others at Stampede or actually talking to the truckers and listening to their concerns is your proof?
It’s a joke. When that’s all you have left are staged outrage your in deep trouble.
Yeah, if that's what we're talking about I would agree. Politicians take photos with people and they don't always know who they are. But, when you go out of your way to take photos with people, that's a whole other ball of wax. At that point, you're endorsing those views and everyone knows that.

Just think of how much better it would be if Trudeau and freeland and jagmeet were all in jail, And the country was run by someone competent not corrupt.
Do you understand what jail is?
In jail for what? on what charges? any precedence for said charges?
Make real arguments.

Imagine being told by Yoho, this sites all-time least critical thinking poster, who is so spoon fed how to think by his social media feeds poster, that you are spoon fed.
I'm amazed the site didn't implode from the weight of this titanic irony.

Christina Freeland's new Canadian Mortgage Charter is about what I expected. If only interest rates were left to do the job on their own, they might bring back "some" semblance of normalcy to housing. Instead, our federal government continues to bend over backwards so that the segment of the population who borrowed too much and forced real estate prices higher just keep on ticking.
I'm no PP fan. I think he's a slimy weasel. However, I absolutely can't stand the federal liberals.
Except programming like Schitt's Creek, Kim's Convenience, Heartland, and HNIC are what draw eyeballs, which attracts advertisers.
Schitt's Creek is one of the most acclaimed sitcoms of the last decade. Canadian TV in general (and CBC particularly) get unfairly roasted for their content quality.
Murdoch Mysteries. another quality program on CBC.
17 excellent seasons!

Speaking of Canadian shows, while I'm not sure it's to the nation's credit, CBC's Murdoch Mysteries is an international hit.
Of course it's to the nations credit. Murdoch is an awesome show, and has kept the quality up for many more years than the vast majority shows ever have.
