"How Did This Get Made" covered the 2019 Cats movie and I had to get a look at this abomination. I usually power through almost everything, even if I have to multitask, etc. I only made it 20 mins into this, firmly on my worst movies of all time list. I love it when something is far worse than you expected.
I hope Dame Judi Dench and Sir Ian McKellen were paid well for their roles, because lol..

Lol! You made it 20 minutes? My daughter is huge into music and LOVES cats, both the animals and the opera and I think we made it 6 minutes?

Started watching some Jake Gyllenhaal show yesterday. Presumed Innocent or something.
Anyway, does this guy even know he's supposed to act and develop a character? He just wanders in as himself and says lines. He's just Jake the whole time versus being the character he's supposed to be portraying. It's beyond distracting. As a Jack Black fan, I'd put Year One on the bad side. But honestly, I think this thread shows that the bad side is a way shorter list. And even if the movies themselves aren't great, he's usually a a bright spot.

Also TONS of small parts in various movies where I would say his inclusion is generally a plus. Can't give everything a ranking because I haven't seen all his stuff, but tough to argue with his success and it's pretty much just being his charismatic self, which is okay.
I thought saying Jack Black Vehicle made it clear this was movies he played the lead or major starring role in. For an example of him in a supporting role I'd say he was great in the 1997 Bruce Willis vehicle "The Jackal". lol I had no idea he was so beloved by the unwashed masses.
