Watched Conclave last night. I found it a good watch. Kind of had an odd twist at the end but that was fine. I'm sure the Catholics did not like it one bit. I say that without seeing online reactions to the book or movie.

The Casa Bonita documentary was quite entertaining. I knew nothing about that place before South Park, but now I want to plan a trip to Colorado just to go there with my kids. It also reaffirmed my view of Matt & Trey as personal heroes. 30 years working together, no serious drama or animosity, and they still care about making great entertainment as much as they did when they started
And seeing Trey actually put that prospector animatronic in a Farrah Fawcett t-shirt was the biggest unexpected laugh I've had in a while
Totally. I've had a layover there 3 different times (including last month), I think about going every time. Sadly they're never long enough...hit me with some monstro 10 hour layover, and I'm there.

Those are the best kind of movies centering on catholicism.
Bale as Bateman was as perfect as the role could've possibly been portrayed (outside of tom cruise who inspired the character with his bizarre interviews).
I guess we're at the point of making B versions of superior films that aren't that old.
Ive seen a number of comments online suggesting Butler would make a good Paul Allen in a bit of a spin off. That would require some original ideas though.
It's weird that Hollywood has a fascination with rebooting beloved or already great movies. Why not do what they did with Dune and fix the mistakes of the past by rebooting movies that should have been good but ended up being terrible? (Sorry 80s Dune fans)
Lets not forget the work of art that was American Psycho 2...
Well, yes, but that wasn't supposed to be American Psycho II. They just shoehorned that in last minute.
And it's a funny bad movie, except for Mila and Bill, everyone else are these random people that show up in other stuff all the time as bit players. Lindy Booth, Robin Dunne, Kim Poirier, Geraint Wyn Davies...

This. Remake movies that didn’t translate and make them good!
