Ugh, he's a far better actor then he is a rapper. I wish he'd realize that
But he's also a better writer and comedian than he is an actor.
I don't know, I like his music but would definitely prefer a season of Community with him over another album but if his passion is music his passion is music. And given the debacle with community over the last couple years, maybe he's just had too much.
The smart thing would be to have Jeff return to school as an instructor since he said his degree was in education. That would keep him in the show full-time. Id also expect chang to be a full-time member of the study group with Glover only being in a handful of episodes next season.
Yeah thats actually quite dissapointing. I think he is the most underrated part of that show.
Donald Glover and Danny Pudi are what make the show. I've been following Glover since his Derrick Comedy days and he's actually the reason I started watching Community in the first place. While it's dissapointing news I'll continue to watch as long as Alison Brie is on the show
Well I finally forced myself to watch the last few episodes of season 4. Wow. Just absolutely awful.
Even the finally which was written by Megan Ganz was crap. I really hope Harmon saves this show. It feels like a lifeless corpse at this point.
What were your thoughts on the Jim Rash episode? That felt like one of the few Community episodes that was like the older Community, even if it was weaker than most.
That's fantastic news! He was one of the best parts about season 1 and especially season 2.
"So, what is Anthropology? Seriously, does anyone know?"
Also, looking forward to Jonathan Banks (Mike from Breaking Bad) as Annie's Criminology professor. He's going to be in 11 episodes, so he'll have a real role unlike the other guest actors who they have had as teachers in the past (Betty White, Michael K Williams, Malcolm McDowell).

Just ran across this cool little story from Stephen Tobolowsky about the circumstances around his guest spot on Community. He played the "Who's the Boss" professor. The story is from 2011, so perhaps it is old news, but it's new to me.
