No, those are north american opossums, the type that get splattered all over the road in the southern US states. The picture above is as cute as they ever get. Their Australian counterparts--possums--are a million times cuter. They are also very inquisitive and are very common in Sydney (and elsewhere) at night. Like squirrels really, but less shy.
