What's worse though? Retiring or having the fans sit through a procession? Let those fans get out and slam some wine and smoke some cigs.

The way Charlie is playing, I'm not sure it would make much of a difference if Tommy was fully healthy.

It's not like they have to sit too long as this is going to be as quick a best of five set match as you will see. These people did pay $$$ to see some tennis. It may not be great tennis but better than sending them home early.

I think we just got a reminder that Mirra Andreeva is still just 18 years old.

That first set was a killer, 80 minutes. Was always going to be an unhill battle for the loser of that set.

What a run for the wildcard Boisson. The crowd will definitely give her a lift.

I don't consider this a setback and more a bump in the road of the journey. It's not everyday she's going to face a player on the career run of her life. She's going to be good.

it was still better than the first women's match of the day where Gauff and Keys conspired to hit that magical triple digit unforced error count. I don't think this side of the draw is going to take the trophy this year.

She has a Rafa-like forehand with loads of topspin that is rarely seen on the WTA tour and is not shy to run around her backhand. Next up is Coco who win despite hitting 10 double faults. You know that French crowd will be sure to let Coco know whenever she hits a double fault.

Yeah, I'm just highlighting more Mirra's lack of experience and having to deal with a crowd that is taking delight in every error that she commits. That can be tough for anybody let alone a 18 year old. She'll learn from this match and be better for it in the long run.

And she uses her backhand slice very well on this surface

Some good news and bad news regarding our Canadians - First the good news as Gabriel Diallo due to withdrawals has been granted direct entry into the den Bosch grass tourney.

The bad news is that Liam Draxl appeared to suffer a serious injury yesterday.

As mentioned earlier, Djokovic has one job that starts in a couple of hours.

Zverev and Djokovic account for 75% of Nadal's losses at the French Open

As much as it is frustrating to back FAA and Shapo as they self destruct out of the top 30, you really have to wonder where Zverev goes from here as a player that has fully plateaued and doesn't seem to have answers.

First opponent of yet another slam that he's played ranked inside the top 20 and again has no answers. Granted it is Djokovic, but the Zverev game is just not set to beat players that are true major contenders in best of 5.

The last two match points saved by Zverev is he way he needs to play all the time. Instead, he gets way too passive when playing the elite guys and eventually they capitalize on the passiveness.
