You can't give a player whatever he wants on his entry-level deal. Bound to the terms of the CBA.

Problem is Coronato probably doesnt make the team this season and I think if he has the choice between school and ahl he picks school.

My bet is 1 more year at Harvard, try to dominate college.

I would let him cook for another year. Team will be good next season without him so no need to rush him.

Nah, it'll be Jarome Iginla all over again exactly. Coronato will be the only player who shows up, they'll get swept in the first round, and it will be eight years before they get another sniff of the playoffs.

Just trying to be a Flames fan here. Am I doing this right?

The Frozen Four final is on April 8 and the Flames season ends on April 12, so even if Harvard won the National Championship, he could still join the Flames before the end of the regular season.

If they don't make the Frozen Four, but do make the NCAA tournament, his season will end two weeks earlier. If they don't make the tournament, his season will end sometime in mid-March.
