Again, why watch intermission reports? I literally change the channel or leave when a period ends. There is nothing to be gained watching anything sportsnet or any rights holder to be honest. Gene entertains the kids in the pregame. Player interviews are useless and have been forever.
In fact I’m going to have a shower in 4 minutes!

Tyler Ennis is in trouble after a hard hit from Kirby Dach. Hard to see him struggling on the ice like that. I think he's hurt his knee.

Now this I can agree with. Still, Gene wins the gold medal for clown interviewers. He is literally a walking cartoon character.
I do find it hilarious though the pimping of McDavid when his teammate out scored him. Draisatl in the running for the Hart, has a pretty good shot at winning it...... McDavid talked about 15x more. Because he’s fast... and stuff. I’m sure Leon is wondering what it’s gonna take (hint: you’re not Canadian, so, nothing will ever be the same as McDavid).

I would posit that rust is what is making players do un-natural things when it comes to hits.
Take the hit and you'll be fine. Try and avoid the hit and you're in serious trouble.
